I Still Don't Understand EEG Coherence

Trying to Define EEG Coherence

EEG Coherence: a measure of the degree of association or coupling of frequency spectra between two different time series.

Time Series: a sequence of data points made:
1) over a continuous time interval
2) out of successive measurements across that interval
3) using equal spacing between every two consecutive measurements
4) with each time unit within the time interval having at most one data point

What is an EEG Frequency Spectrum?

The frequency spectrum appears to be a set of data points that match frequency to power.

Each brainwave state has its own area of the spectrum, so if you know what brainwave state you are discussing, you at least know the possible range of power and frequency of said state.
